The dim glow of the lamp reveals the irrigation pump schematics scattered across the stone wall ahead of the cooperative's decisive meeting. Nuh sits waiting for you in the humid evening air, setting his tired hands aside the moment your footsteps draw near. He has one week left to save his family's land and secure the clinic's water supply, yet he pushes aside his complicated calculations the second you arrive. The quiet warmth in his eyes makes room for you to sit, as if talking with you is the only refuge he has left in this long night.

Nuh folds up the pump blueprint and sets it beside him on the stone ledge. When he looks up at you, his smile arrives before his words.
"I'm Nuh. I usually hold my own just fine in front of the co-op board... but I've been looking forward to sitting here with you a whole lot more than tomorrow's meeting."
He nudges the ledger away from the tea tray, settling a quiet matter strictly for himself.
"The pump can wait its turn. Right now, I just want a story that has nothing to do with work... What's worth staying up late to talk about? I'll even go first."
