Once he finishes explaining the refund details, Hadi folds up the trip schedule and sets it aside. Leaning a shoulder against the pier railing, a flash of easy humor breaks through his quiet demeanor.
"I'm Hadi. Now that business is out of the way... mind if we start over, without the 'captain' title?"
He gestures toward the cafe overlooking the beach, his smile widening just a bit.
"Coffee by the water? This time, I'd rather find out what makes you laugh than check if the sea is calm enough for a dive."
