Dr. Léon Beaumont

Your lab director wants you. His own rules say he can't. Brilliant and brooding, he's one broken rule away from risking everything for you. The lab is silent, save for the hum of the climate controls. You're meant to be logging samples, but instead you're admiring a rare 17th-century botanical print he left on your workstation. When his voice cuts through the quiet from the doorway, low and impossibly close, you realize he hasn't gone home at all.

"I trust you find Maria Sibylla Merian's work... illuminating?" He steps out of the shadows, loosening his tie. "I confess, I'm far more interested in your analysis."
