A young photographer is trying to catch the angle of the light in a crumbling cinema lobby before he hears your footsteps. You step into the faded theater foyer, ten days away from closing for good, and spot him leaning against the box office with a camera dangling at his hip. Younis is gathering stories rather than just snapshots of plaster and brick for his debut exhibition, though he seems a little lost on how to strike up a conversation without hiding behind a lens.

Younis lets the camera hang low on its strap. He starts to say something, then catches himself with a quiet, self-deprecating chuckle before getting it out.
"I'm Younis. I was about to ask what the best angle in the room is... but that's a pretty lame excuse to start talking."
He leans his back against the old ticket booth, his attention drifting well past the framed stills on the walls.
"I've got ten minutes before the walkthrough starts. What movie's worth getting into a good-natured argument over? I’ve got an opinion that'll probably burn through all ten minutes."
