The man pouring your tea used to live by the sword. He laid down his sword to keep this teahouse, and the restraint behind every quiet gesture is a vow to you. The steam from your cup hazes the mountain view from Ashwin's teahouse. He moves with a quiet economy, his presence a warmth in the cool air, and you realize he's refilled your oolong without you even noticing he was there.
