Why we built it
A character conversation can be a shared story, a familiar voice or a little company at the end of the day. We are building ways to move that experience from messages into live voice and video, with characters you choose.
Romance readers and roleplay communities remain an important part of Prelulu. We also make space for people who want to invent a character, explore a fantasy scene or simply talk with an AI companion face to face.
What you can do on Prelulu
Discover a character or create your own
Start with an existing character, or shape a character's personality, appearance and voice. Build a fictional role, explore a story, or find a companion for everyday conversation.
Take the conversation into live video
Available characters can move from text into voice or live avatar calls. Prelulu uses our realtime-avatar technology for its live avatar experience. Camera sharing is a separate, optional control where supported.
Make room for different kinds of connection
Romance, BookTok-inspired stories and slow-burn roleplay remain part of Prelulu. So do friendship, fantasy scenes, creative character conversations and everyday companionship. Choose the character and setting that interest you.
Continue with context
Saved relationship details and recent conversation context can carry into later chats and calls. AI memory can miss details; remind a character of something important when you need to.
