An AI friend is an AI that plays a character you talk to for company and friendship, rather than romance or getting tasks done. A good one keeps its own personality, remembers what you told it and picks the conversation back up next time. On Prelulu every AI friend is a written fictional character, never a real person or a recording: text them, hear them on a live voice call, or see them on a video call when their profile offers it. Talk out loud when typing is too much

Tap Call and choose Voice. Your AI friend answers live in their own voice and keeps listening while they talk, so you can cut in mid-sentence. A call runs up to 30 minutes or as long as your credits cover.

They remember your day

Characters keep selective memory across chats, and calls keep their own memory of earlier calls. Memory is not a full transcript; put anything they should always know in their Pinned memory, which they read in both.

Friendship, not a storyline

Nothing has to turn romantic. Talk about your day, think out loud or practice a conversation you are nervous about, at whatever pace you like. You can also create your own friend with a personality, look and voice.
