AI character video chat is a live, two-way audiovisual conversation with a persistent fictional AI character you can see and hear. It is different from optional camera input, which lets the character respond to what you show, and from a generated video clip delivered after a prompt.

A conversation loop, not a finished clip
A convincing AI video chat is a loop, not a clip: you say something, the character answers through a visible avatar, and you can immediately respond again. Prelulu connects that live loop to the same character and selected context you use in text chat, while keeping camera sharing under your control.

You start the exchange
Speak into the call or type a message. The character answers the conversation you are having rather than playing a finished video. The character is fictional, not a human performer.

The reply becomes a face and voice
The current spoken reply drives the avatar's lip-sync. Prelulu also uses prepared motion clips, so gestures can repeat and the visual result is not a promise that every frame is newly generated.

Full-duplex voice lets you speak while the character is talking. Interrupt, add a thought or change direction. Camera sharing is optional on supported calls, requires permission and can be turned off without ending the conversation.

Per-character memory and keepsakes can bring selected details into a later chat or call. Memory can be incomplete or wrong, so repeat any fact that matters to the scene.
