Not when we checked. As of October 23, 2026, CHAI's iPhone app was not available on the App Store in the US, UK, Canada and Australia (Apple lookup returned no app; the App Store page returned 404). Its Google Play app and website remain available. CHAI's website still linked to the App Store listing that day and said CHAI Web was "Coming Soon", and its Android app was last updated October 20, 2026. We found no reason published by CHAI or by Apple. On iPhone, Prelulu is on the App Store and in Safari at prelulu.ai: texting includes a daily free message allowance forever, and signup welcome credits can fund a short call.

CHAI's Google Play listing, read October 23, 2026, says its characters reply "complete with authentic voices", each with their own voice. It does not describe a live voice call, so we cannot confirm one from that wording; check the current app rather than treating CHAI as text-only. On Prelulu you can start a live voice call with a character, or a video call when their profile offers it.

CHAI's official site still said CHAI Web was "Coming Soon" when we read it on October 23, 2026, and it linked to the mobile apps. Prelulu works in any desktop or phone browser at prelulu.ai, as well as in its iPhone and Android apps.
