Bring a character card, keep control of the rewrite

You may already have the personality and first line written. Open the importer with a supported PNG or JSON character card, or paste your character text. Review the fields that come across, resolve missing context and shape the draft for conversations on Prelulu.

Import a character card

Import a supported PNG or JSON character card, or paste character text. Review personality, greeting and dialogue before creating a conversational character.

Open the character card importer

Import is a review step, not a lossless transfer or an export tool. Only use cards and artwork you have permission to use.

Make this story yours

Check what the file actually contains

A PNG character card can carry embedded character data; an ordinary portrait may not. Review the extracted fields rather than treating the image as proof of a complete card.

Adapt the voice and first message

Read the background, greeting and any imported dialogue examples together. Replace tool-specific instructions or assumptions that do not fit the character you want here.

Fill the gaps before creating

Add the adult character's motive and your place in the scene when the source leaves them unclear. An import can start the draft without settling every detail.

FAQ

Questions before you begin

Bring supported PNG or JSON character cards you own or are authorized to reuse, or paste your own or authorized character text. Compatibility depends on the contents: an ordinary PNG portrait or arbitrary JSON file is not necessarily a character card.

No lossless transfer is promised. This is not a migration of chat history, a complete lorebook or a voice model. Card formats can map differently; inspect identity, personality, greeting and examples, then fill gaps before creating the character.

This page opens the import-and-review flow. It does not offer a character card export or promise a round trip back to the source format.

Public availability is not automatic permission. Check the author's terms and rights for the text and any artwork, and review the content for safety before using it in your own character.
